House Groups

As Lent drew to a close this week, so too did our Lent House Groups which have been meeting in the six weeks running up to Easter. 

A big thank you to Deacon Paul Evans who put together some  excellent materials for us to use for the House Group meetings.  These included Sunday Gospel readings for the week ahead as well as Lent-themed poetry and artwork which had been suggested by previous participants of the House Groups. 

Over 40 people met each week, spread over six house groups including one group which met in the Parish Hall and all others hosted in parishioners’ homes. 

Being in a House Group was a great opportunity to take time out of our busy week to prepare for the coming Sunday, to share our faith, to pray together and to get to know one another.  It was a perfect way to do something special for Lent and was a truly spirit-filled experience.
