Guitars Gifted for Parish Youth Ministry

Fr Pat Sherlock has a nephew, Martin, who is a gifted poet, songwriter and guitarist. In his younger days, Martin collected a number of electric and acoustic guitars for himself and his friends to play. Unfortunately, a long-term health issue means that he can no longer use these instruments, and they have been languishing in a cupboard for some time. When Fr Pat mentioned that Our Lady and St Dominic’s was developing its youth ministry, Martin very kindly offered to donate five of the guitars and an amplifier to the parish. We hope they will inspire our young people to develop their musical skills and bring joy to themselves and to others.
