This Thursday, the second of the month, was our Mamma Margherita Club meeting.
First a Mass with anointing at 2.00 pm. Thank you Father Anthony and thank you Mary for reading. I had never been to an Anointing Mass – what a marvellous experience.
Then into the church hall, dues paid, raffle tickets purchased, coffee/tea – thank you Sharon and not forgetting yummy cakes were served, while we had a catch up with familiar parishioners and a great chance to meet some new ones.
Martin Wood gave us an inspiring talk, accompanied by photographs, on his pilgrimage to the Holy Land. Thank you for sharing your experiences Martin.
Some happy winners of the raffle draw. Thank you Margaret for your closing prayer.
