This month’s meeting was held on 8th October 2026.
Once subs had been taken and greetings made we settled down to test our knowledge with three different quiz sheets given out to each table. It was a close run match and Team Three, which included Ian, Angela, Jane, Teresa, Eileen, Margaret and Nora were declared the winners.
Tea coffee and cakes were enjoyed with plenty of chat, the raffle drawn and birthday cards distributed.Â

The meeting closed with the ‘Thought for the Day’ given by Judith Lavelle who told us about two very different weddings she had attended this year, and connected this to the wedding we are all invited to as mentioned in the Gospels (eg Sunday 11th October 2026: Matthew 22:1-14). Thank you Judith.Â

Coming up next month is our third anniversary when we have Mass and Anointing celebrated by Father Anthony together with our AGM. Father Anthony will also be joining us to share his thoughts on how the Fellowship will develop going forward.
