CAFOD

As a parish we support the work of CAFOD which is the official Catholic aid agency for England and Wales, and part of Caritas International. CAFOD works through the local Church to reach people and places that others can’t.

CAFOD brings hope and compassion to poor communities across the world, standing side by side with them to end poverty and injustice.  They work on long-term development as well as responding to emergencies.

The CAFOD reps at OLSD aim to promote the charity’s fundraising initiatives in our own parish and in particular the Lent and Advent Family Fast Days.
