Media

The Media Ministry aims to help our church to broadcast its message internally and externally via good audio-visual facilities in the church and hall, live-stream, and online platforms such as the website and social media.  There are two teams within the ministry: 

• Technology – working on managing and implementing technology to provide the best experience possible with regards to sound and vision in the Church, via the live-stream and in the Church Hall. This team is led by Dominic Smye Rumsby.
• Communications – implementing a new website and are keeping this up to date by providing information and a record of church activities including good quality photos for parishioners, newcomers and visitors. The communications team is led by Jo Wood.

Key Initiatives

Technology

1. Stabilise the running of the equipment in the Church Hall to make it usable and reliable for internal use.
2. Provide comprehensive support documentation and help videos.
3. Formalise a procedure for providing support internally and externally.

Communications

1. Continue to provide an up-to-date website.
2. Continue to develop the digital signage in the Entrance Hall and consider extending it into the Church Hall.
3. Collaborate with the Youth Ministry to explore other media channels such asInstagram.

ChurchSuite

1. Continue to encourage the use of ChurchSuite to improve procedures where appropriate and help the parish to meet its data protection and safeguarding commitments.uni
