Did you know that this parish has a cricket team?

Yes it does and we have been playing a few fixtures for some years now against other local churches.

Our aim is to provide a gentle sporting challenge to our Anglican brethren in Farnborough, in the interests of ecumenical understanding, whilst single-mindedly seeking to win at all times – if not at all costs.

To this end we have a team of varying standards and ages, from the seasoned club player to the keen juniors and the “I’ve not played since school but I’m game” brigade. We welcome anyone connected with the parish, including family members of active parishioners – it’s a good way of getting to know others for those otherwise less involved.

We’re always happy to welcome new players - reliability and commitment is more appreciated than pure ability! We also welcome umpires, scorers, and supporters! Please look out in the parish newsletter for more news about cricket.
